How Are You? pg. 1

Three comic strips all based on the responses to the question of: how are you? In the first strip, dated 3/20/13 from the homeless year, a scribbly LB vessel clasps its hands and declares with a big grin, 'Great! Everything's going to be just fine! Marvelous adventure!' In the next panel, with eyes full of tears, it shakes its fists at the sky and shouts, AUUGGH! I'm covered in DESPAIR! In the final panel, it slumps and says cynically, I'm conflicted, okay? The second strip, dated from 5/20/13, so still during the homeless year, shows LB's less scribbly vessel sitting at a table with dark circles under their eyes. When asks, they slump, fidgeting with their hands and looking away, before pulling themselves upright, clasping their hands, and giving what they hope is a convincing smile, surrounded by sparkles, and saying absolutely nothing, much like a politician trying to avoid a scandal. The final strip, from 11/3/2017, shows Rogan with hands clapsed and a mild smile saying, Fine. I'm fine. His shoulders start to shake, his hands clasp tighter, and his smile starts to warp, even as he insists, everything's fine. In the final panel, his hands are death-gripping each other and tears are streaming down his cheeks, even as he still keeps on a horrible rictus of a smile.
